Rovanco Piping Systems, Inc. is proud of the quality of its products and for this reason alone extra care is taken when inspecting for manufacturing defects. This warranty will start the day the finished product leaves the factory and not when the start-up period is introduced. This limited warranty applies to the United States.
Rovanco Piping Systems, Inc. warrants its products only to the extent that it will replace products that are proven to have manufacturing defects within a 1-year period from the day the product ships from Rovanco. Products must not be damaged during or after installation from improper backfill, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Rovanco; Products must not be subjected to damage or wear caused by abnormal operating conditions, accident, abuse, misuse, unauthorized alteration or repair; Products must not be exposed to temperature and/or pressure conditions beyond their rated value; Products must not be exposed to harmful chemicals, aggressive water conditions or any external influences that cause damage to the products; Products must be stored in a clean, dry environment; and Products must be installed for their intended use and in the applications defined by the Rovanco’s Installation Instructions. This warranty will be void if the installing contractor was not initially trained by a Rovanco Field Service Representative. If utilizing for a water service or steam and condensate, Rovanco will need the facility water treatment records for the duration of the operating product in question. If tying into an existing conduit system, Rovanco must be given the air test results on the existing or warranty is void. If product is tying into existing manholes, facility quality control documentation must be given to Rovanco or warranty is void. Also, if changes of direction are made without direct consultation of the engineer of record or Rovanco, warranty is also void.
If utilizing Rhino-Joints or electro-fusion joints, proper paperwork must be presented and signed off, as well as leak detection continuity and resistance charts properly filled out or warranty will also be voided.
In order to make a claim under this Limited Warranty, Rovanco must be informed immediately and no later than thirty (30) days after the occurrence of an event giving
rise to a breach of the Limited Warranty and while the damaged portion of the project is still open for inspection to enable Rovanco to determine whether Rovanco has any liability for the defective product. If this notice is not given, and inspection is not possible, then this Limited Warranty is void.
Additionally, in order for this Limited Warranty to be valid, at the request of Rovanco, a claimant will provide a sample of the allegedly defective product to Rovanco for examination. If a Product is defective, Rovanco’s liability shall be limited, at Rovanco’s option, to replacing or repairing the defective product in question or providing a refund of the defective product’s purchase price. Rovanco will not be liable for any costs of labor, removal, reinstallation, transportation, or any other charges which may arise in connection with a warranty claim.
The sole and exclusive remedy pursuant to any claim of any kind, including but not limited to a claim in contract, negligence or strict liability, against Rovanco or any of Rovanco’s affiliates, shall be limited to the limited liability or Rovanco described in this section. Rovanco shall not be held responsible for damage to person or property, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, losses on goods in store or the like, irrespective of the clause.
Our products are installed and used in a wide variety of conditions. There are no warranties, nor is anyone authorized to issue any warranties of any kind, which surpass the undertaking in the aforementioned sentences.
